Hi, I am basically a Botanist turned to be Palaeoecologist using pollen as proxy record to understand the past vegetational and environmental changes in South India. I am also collecting leaf samples from Eastern Ghats for Plant Functional Type (PFTs) classification of this region. I am also interested in the Cretaceous flora of Palar region. I have also worked in the project on Bioprospection of wild aromatic flora of Western Ghats and project on documentation of indigenous knowledge on plants & animals. I have also worked on water quality analysis of freshwater lakes of Chennai and its environs.
